We believe that teachers of design should be comfortable navigating a wide variety of subjects and fields of study, right from art and science to engineering and philosophy. The ability to approach a subject from multiple angles is a worthy trait in a designer, but a crucial characteristic in a teacher of design. It displays the ability to think creatively and employ out-of-the-box solutions to pressing problems.

Requirements

• Should have a Master’s Degree in Art/​Design/​Engineering from a reputed institution, or relevant work experience in related fields
• Should be adept in design tools like Adobe Photoshop and Corel Draw
• Should have basic knowledge of 3D tools like CATIA and MAYA
• Knowledge of physical prototyping tools and Autodesk ALISA is an advantage
• Good communication and presentation skills
