Design is not taught. It is discovered. Designers are not created. They are shaped.
At the Faculty of Art and Design (FAD), Students are shaped with knowledge, expertise, patience, and concentration.
FAD adopts a multipronged approach to design education. The comprehensive curriculum covers global best practices in design while also focussing on local application. Theoretical knowledge is rooted in classroom learning while studios and laboratories are used to translate the ideas to reality. Students are not only taught to solve the present-day problems, but they are also prepared to address futuristic needs
For those students who wish to push the boundaries of dreaming and doing, widespread inspiration can be found everywhere in FAD, in nooks and corners of the university, in university facilities, and in every faculty member.
