Miraki Fashion Show – 2024” was inaugurated by Dr. Jagannathrao Venkatrao Desai, Dean, Ramaiah Technology Campus, and Dr. Mamatha Hegde, Head, Dept. of Fashion Design, RUAS on 29 April 2024. The program began with the Ramaiah Anthem. Dr. Mamatha G Hegde, Head, Dept. of Fashion Design, FAD, welcomed the dignitaries and during the welcome, she highlighted on the importance of the Miraki Portfolio Fashion Show –2024. This type of competition helps the designers to learn various aspects of design such as the Usage of resources for the development of Imaginative, creative, and integrative fashion apparel”.

Miraki Fashion Show 2023 started with an introduction of Judges Ms. Puja Sahay, Fashion Designer, Mr. Darshan Boorella Rajgopal, Manager Sourcing, Myntra, and Bhoomi Dattani, Fashion Designer and Illustrator. All the designs were evaluated for parameters like design aesthetics, choreography, theme, stage presentation, and innovation design originality, vision for the future, accessories coordination, expression, and confidentiality. Sixth-semester B. Des Fashion Design students and M. Des fourth-semester students showcased their portfolio collections during the fashion show. Designer Kajal designed for the theme Magical Realism, Followed by designer Poorva designed for the theme Strom Cloud, The Fighter Fish silhouette was designed by Swathi Simha, Designer Aswathi worked on with the theme Crystal, Black Swan concept garments designed by Aleena Joseph, Anusha H G designed garments that is inspired by Tanjore painting. Designer Darshana B inspired by theme Faded Romance, Pearls based designs were created by designer Varsha, Sea Shells were inspired and constructed a garment by designer Aditi Shetty, Designer Chandrika M Kadannavar designed a garments for the inspiration Kubsa Fabric followed by designer Shweta jainar designed a garments that is inspired by Cocktail party wear, Jharokha theme designed by designer Divi Sowmya, Designer sahana P G designed a garment inspired by Canon, Designer Aparnaa S K designed a garment inspired by Sangam Literature, Designer Privilla Mariya Sogy designed a garment inspired by Frida Kahlo, followed by Gothic Romance garments were designed by Bavishni.B, Designer Hamsa Lekha A S designed a garments that are inspired by old sarees, Underwater Gothic inspiration garments were designed by Iniya A, Designer Tapasya Chittiappa designed a garments that is inspired by Sheesh Mahal, Magnificient Century garments were designed by Vandela Charitha, Designer Shreya shri designed a garments that is inspired by rare flowers, Designer Ruthina designed a garments that is inspired by underworld gothic. The 4sem B.des Students also presented their collection which is inspired by Traditional Prints with Modern Touch and Sustainable Fashion. The entire Miraki Fashion show was anchored by 4^th Sem students Ms. Aadya and Ms. Krishna Priya and Mr. Goutham N announced the award winner.
