Details

Designing clothes goes beyond creating aesthetically pleasing apparel. It includes a deep understanding of materials and their properties, the creation of fabric renders and patterns, and knowledge of the manufacturability of the end product.

Technology plays an important role in translating a design idea into a garment. From sketches and realistic renders to iterations and application of textures, technology is used to ensure convenience and efficiency.

At the Fashion Studio, students are taught all this and more. They are given the opportunity to work with software like Sketchbook Pro and CorelDraw to create sketches and texture renders. They are also given workstations where they can bring their artistic ideas to life and begin their fashion design journeys.
